Rescue Diving
Whether you’re a diver or not, you never know when first aid skills may come in handy. Learning how to cope in an emergency situation isn’t being pessimistic – it shows preparation and offers peace of mind, demonstrating a maturity to care for others, as well as yourself!
At Adrenalin Snorkel and Dive we teach divers to be the ultimate buddy by learning the correct ways to respond to various scenarios including unconscious and panicking divers, both on the surface and under the water through the PADI Rescue Diver Course
Our EFR and ORCA Courses provide training for out of the water emergencies, including CPR, Providing Emergency Oxygen and First Aid.
“Challenging” and “rewarding” are two words used often to describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. They are also words used often by those who have experienced a real life rescue scenario! This course expands on preventing problems, teaches you how to manage them if they occur. You gain the practical knowledge and experience to respond in real time, which could make the difference for your buddy or diver in trouble.
The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them.
Most divers find this course demanding, fun and satisfying. Upon completion we often hear that it is the best course they have ever taken!
Your focus will start to turn from yourself and your needs, to the safety and needs of your diving companions. Learn how to be the the ultimate selfless buddy!
The Rescue Diver certification is often the minimum certification needed to join various Diving Registers, including that at James Cook University and the Australian Institute of Marine Science.
