PLEASE READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS/CANCELLATION POLICY

ADVICE FOR DIVING AND SNORKELING
Snorkeling and Scuba Diving can be strenuous activity. Some medications and medical conditions e.g., asthma, diabetes, heart or lung disease may prevent or limit your participation. If you are unsure, please contact us for more information or consult a diving physician. It is recommended that you do not fly for 24 hours after diving.

SEASICKNESS
We recommend that all passengers take preventative seasickness medication that does not cause drowsiness. Please refer to your GP or pharmacist for more information.

MEDICAL AND TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDED
All passengers are strongly advised to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers:

(i) Trip cancellation or rescheduling

(ii) Lost / damaged personal belongings or equipment, due to any reason, and

(iii) Evacuation and medical cover including Scuba diving where relevant

Note: In a medical emergency, any evacuation, vessel relocation or medical expenses, are the final responsibility of that passenger. Divers Alert Network (DAN) www.diversalertnetwork.org and Dive Assure www.diveassure.com offer comprehensive insurance packages specially for scuba divers.

TRIP CONFIRMATION
Day trip passengers will receive confirmation of departure from Adrenalin Snorkel & Dive by 4pm the afternoon prior to your scheduled trip. A trip is only confirmed when the forecasted weather conditions are safe enough to travel and minimum passenger numbers have been met. If you do not receive confirmation via text or email by 4:30pm please check your junk mail or call our office on (07)47240600

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING BY CUSTOMER
Cancellation Fees
Day trips:
20% with 14 days’ – 48 hours’ notice
100% with less than 48 hours’ notice
Liveaboard / Dive courses:
20% with 30 – 8 days’ notice
100% with less than 8 days’ notice

Reschedule fees
Day trips:
20% with less than 14 days’ notice
Liveaboards:
20% with less than 30 days’ notice
Courses:
$300 for rescheduling Pool Session

Proof of vaccination: From 17 December 2021 all passengers aged 16 years or over must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination in order to participate in our courses and trips. Passengers who are unable to provide proof of vaccination or proof of medical exemption upon check-in are not eligible for a refund.

TEMPORARY CANCELLATION POLICY DURING CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC:
Border closure due to Pandemic

Option One: If the border closes due to Covid-19 restrictions and you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the announcement we offer a full refund.

Option Two: If you chose to keep your booking in anticipation of borders reopening our normal cancellation policy applies.

COVID-19 Exposure

If you have been in contact with the virus within 2 weeks of your scheduled trip or have symptoms of the virus before the trip we are waiving our cancellation fees and you will be able to join another trip when feeling better again and are virus free.

In regard to diving after contracting the virus a dive please contact a dive medical specialist for a dive medical to show that you are fit and healthy to dive again.

PASSENGER NUMBERS

All trips require a minimum passenger number before confirmation.

REFUND POLICY

All trips and courses are conditional on weather conditions, management’s discretion, vessel availability and minimum participants (vessel depending). All refund must be authorized by the management of Adrenalin Snorkel and Dive. Refund processing times can vary per bank and (international) transfer fees may apply for which we are not held responsible. Please see terms and conditions of your bank and the chosen payment method for more information. We endeavour to adhere to the scheduled itinerary but reserve the right to alter the proposed itinerary or cancel the trip. Trip itineraries are subject to change at the sole discretion of the management or master of the vessel. If a trip is delayed, dives or snorkels cannot be completed, or cut short due to weather, mechanical breakdown, or a medical emergency, fees will not be refunded. We will not be held financially responsible for weather conditions or illness as a result or for any alternative arrangements made by the customer in case a day trip is delayed or cancelled. Trip fees will not be refunded should you be unable to board in time for the scheduled departure or be unable to complete all dives.
