Outdoor Recreation - SCUBA Diving

If you are the type of person who loves the outdoors and you want to improve your outdoor leadership skills, the Outdoor Recreation course have been designed with you in mind. The Certificate 3 Guarantee gives eligible individuals the opportunity to complete Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation, with the training cost subsidised by the Queensland Government.

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to participate in and be competent in guiding Scuba dives.AISR our training partner has divided this qualification into 2 streams to make it easy for the student to determine the pathway for their desired diving outcome. Although there are no formal entry requirements into this qualification participants should have prior experience in diving although not compulsory for the openwater advanced stream. Entry into this qualification will be based on the professional judgement of the RTO, in consultation with the individual.

The 12 core units that build fundamental knowledge for both streams (most of which is covered in your diving certification program) are the same and AISR has made the additional content easy to complete either online or classroom based as determined by the Training facility.In either case, prticipants will recieve all the support needed to complete their program successfully. The 12 exciting elective units make your classroom the underwater world and teach you the neccessary diving skills.
